Investing in the People Who Help Communities Recover
Every disaster site tells the same story eventually. A family loses part of their home to fire or flooding, and someone has to help them get it back. That someone is usually an emergency manager, an environmental scientist, a construction professional, or a civil engineer who chose a field most people never think about until they need it.
911 Restoration is launching the Fresh Start Scholarship to support the students who will fill those roles.

How Winners Are Chosen & Funds Are Paid Out
An independent community foundation partner, a 501(c)(3) public charity, reviews applications and selects winners based on essay quality and how clearly the applicant connects their field of study to community recovery. 911 Restoration has no direct role in the selection process. Funds are sent straight to the recipient's school to cover tuition, fees, or other qualified expenses, not to the student directly.
Why 911 Restoration Sponsors the Fresh Start Scholarship
911 Restoration has operated across the U.S. and Canada since 2003 under a simple idea: every property the company restores represents a fresh start for the people on the other side of it. That promise depends on a steady supply of trained people entering emergency management, environmental science, and construction. The Fresh Start Scholarship is a way to invest in the professionals who will carry that work forward long after today's students graduate.
